Iranian security forces are violently injuring and killing people in Iran in response to largely peaceful protests sparked by Mahsa Amini's death last fall – many have been subjected to torture and other ill-treatment, including electric shocks, death threats, rape, and other forms of sexual violence.

Amnesty is collecting evidence of the unlawful use of teargas, water cannons, and beatings with batons to disperse protesters – and we’re fighting to protect individuals at risk. We need your help to keep this critical work going.
